The Pheasant Inn - Falstone

Extremely friendly and efficient staff who even put a breakfast tray together for us when we left one morning before service had started, which was unquestionably a plus. The hotel was in the remote setting to Keilder lake. What's more, it was very close to other pubs.

The room was beautifully decorated, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. The dining experience was fantastic, with delicious local dishes that were a highlight of our trip.

Really good breakfast options

The breakfast was amazing.

I could hardly get any sleep . The noise from the adjacent room was unbearable, with conversations lasting until the early hours and loud snoring disturbing my rest. I expected a peaceful evening, but instead, I was left tossing and turning all night!

Cozy room with amazing views of the night sky. Limited options on the menu for vegetarians. Bicycle rental available nearby for a great outdoor experience.

Wonderful stay in a charming location

We spent two nights here and enjoyed the picturesque setting near Kielder Water. Staff were friendly, and the food was good-a nice belly of pork. Just be mindful of limited vegetarian options! Make sure to ask about specials upon arrival.
